The Most Important Part of Internet Marketing

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers - as we do - and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

While there are many more aspects to internet marketing than just permission-based email marketing, email has definitely been the cornerstone on which our business is built.

How to Find Home Based Businesses That Work

Monday, October 12th, 2009

Cash is something everyone needs.  Let’s take a look at some alternatives to Clickbank Pirate

This is how most work at home-based businesses begin.  According to one survey, these are some great ideas worth adventuring into.  Men who like to work with tools can start a home-based refurbishment service.  The margins are really appealing and with good planning, both parties will be in a position to benefit from the deal.  If almost all of the locals have pets, rather than letting the owners go to the store to get it, maybe ordering this bulk and selling it is a sensible idea.  People who like to cook can start a catering service.  It doesn’t need to be anything fancy.

The businessman can start miniscule by hosting tiny events initially and then when enough money has been made, perhaps it’s time to grow and join others in the sector.  Anybody wants to clean up?  Lots of folk do not care to get the hands grimy but in the final analysis, somebody has to do it.  Another great work from home business concept is to open a cleaning business.

The entrepreneur can clean household and charge by square foot.  When the business is doing better, folks can be employed so that work can basically be done in offices.  Accidents happen everyday especially when the children are playing round the house.  A similar thing can be done for the automobile or the office so heavy wounds can be dodged.  Folk who are extraordinarily meticulous are great as marriage coordinators.  These people did not need to go to college to become one.

maybe getting wed and seeing the difficulties has helped the individual decide to venture into this enterprise so mistakes that were encountered can be dodged in the future.  Another great work from home business is by turning into a fitness mentor.  Lots of actors and celebs hire this expert to get the body ready for an approaching film while those that don’t need to go to the gymnasium can also get the same services.  People who have the same talents can start a work from home business servicing the purchaser.

Another thing ladies like to do is party.  This doesn’t have to happen if the person knows the best way to make one using the countless fabrics.  Ultimately, the entrepreneur will have a collection and even sell these to nearby dept stores and earn more money.  There are more work-at-home business concepts to fool around with.

The businessperson can try those that work or take another road and do whatever is needed to be successful.

On the other hand, you should take another look at my Clickbank Pirate Review and see if that would work for you.

Why Internet Marketing Just WORKS

Saturday, October 10th, 2009

Internet Marketing Software

Friday, July 10th, 2009

Let’s face it, we all want more web site traffic and will do
just about anything to get it and that’s where it all starts to
go wrong!

Do you really think that a new software marketing product will
do it all for you, well it may work for so long but when the
search engines find out that’s it back to square one unless you
choose the right Marketing Software.

So how do you set the process in motion, roll up your sleeves
and get busy, articles are by far the best way to get backlinks
to your site and increase your web site traffic and your page
rank.

Let me give you an example of how this works, and trust me it
works a treat to get more web site traffic

Let’s say you write an article called “getting web site traffic”
just like this one, don’t worry how long it takes you to write
the article just do it! your own content is best.

Next I will upload the article to my web site, then submit the
article to the top article directories with software where
people will be looking for new unique content for their sites.
This is where it starts to get interesting, my site has say a
page rank 2 but the article directories that I have submitted
the article to may have a page rank 3-4 maybe even 5 and that’s
the whole point of this.

At this point 3 things happen!

1) Next time the search engines index the article directories
say 20 to 50 of them depending on how many you submitted your
article to, you now have 20 to 50 back links to your site from a
site with a page rank 4 or better that’s enough to take your
site from a PR2 to PR3 which will move all your pages of your
web site up in the rankings and increase your web site traffic.

2) The Article that you wrote may not do well on your site, But
that’s because your site does not have a good PR.

I have had Articles that I have submitted to the top ranking
directories, placed in the top three listings with the search
engines for weeks and send me loads of web site traffic and make
me more sales!

The same article on my site was down around page 5 or 6 with the
search engines, that’s because at the time my site only had a PR
of 2.

3) This is the bit I really like, if you produce a good
interesting article that’s well written and appealing to others
then these people will use your article/content for their news letter or
for content on their site.

When people use your article that they have found on a directory
they must leave your link in tact, this means that you can
quickly get lot’s of good backlinks to your site and improve your
page rank all this from 1 article.

I had one article that I put on Articlebag.com that gave me
75 backlinks to my site in just 4 weeks, how long would it take
you to get this amount of “relevant” links to your site and how
much work would it take!

Make no mistake about it, this is the quickest method I know to
getting more website traffic to help your online business, do
yourself a favour and get writing now 1 article per week will do
more for your business than all the other things put together
trust me if your looking to increase your web site traffic this
is how to do it.

Can You Make Truck Loads Of Cash Following Your Passion?

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

To make money online many people jump right in before they are properly prepared. You know that to be a rocket scientist, a doctor, a brick layer, a construction worker, an office worker, a teacher there are prerequisites, things you must learn, before you can be successful, you don't just jump right in unprepared.

The same applies to the Internet marketing industry even though there are unsavory people out there who’d have you believe it’s a “Walk in the Park” and requires no more than the belief that you can just do it.

And I’ll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.

Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that?

My answer begins with the age-old chicken or egg question, “what comes first the chicken or the egg”? Personally I thing, well I guess not, each argument you or I make will come back to the same old conclusions about which I have no clue and I think noone really has.

But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have Passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.

Passion in this sense simply means that you've researched and like the company and products or services. It is then that you translate that like (or Passion) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany Passion.

I have to tell you that many online marketers can ignore their passion because they are so darn good in selling anything they want. But I’m concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.

Now, I do not want you to believe that Passion is the only thing you need. Because to become successful faster you need tools like websites, keyword research tools, know how to market to your niche, have great company support and much more. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically.

From that follows that if you do not have any passion for what you are doing, you will simply choose not to do the work that is needed in order to be successful.

Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won't stumble.

You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT!

Your sound research will present you the one and only company you will have the confidence in. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. If you have problem to find it, move on. You can find the right opportunity containing the attributes identified above.

Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I'll start that business - does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion. Have on your mind that if some guru says he doesn't need Passion in order to make money online, don't be temted to listen to this advice, because he is so experienced that he really don't need the Passion and he still can sell almost anything he wants.

Note: By the way it’s your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That skill you learn at the end is worth more than just money.

Remember, there are other steps you must make before you step into Internet Marketing but if you don’t first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success.

Not being Passionate about a company and products and services that has market proof that it will sell is a pitfall you simply must avoid.
